“The history of racial disparity and systematic inequality has been long-studied and well-known in the United States, and it has been brought into particularly sharp focus over the last 12 months, both in the context of the disproportionate impact on Black Americans of COVID-19 and with respect to some of the social-justice issues that we are all facing and discussing as a nation.”
These challenges are relevant in the US, and they’re relevant around the world. Keys to liberation lay in building Black wealth and extracting our “existence” from beneath the weight of the “white gaze” by doing so we have the power to build just and thriving
communities.
Financial inclusion, financial mobility, keeping our dollars in the Black community, the intention is to support Black Americans to increase their financial mobility in places where they faced stagnant mobility for generations.
