Rainier Avenue Radio is FOUR years old! Happy Birthday to our community
RainierAvenueRadio.World (RAR) is YOUR Community Radio Station
Four years ago, March 31st, Rainier Avenue Radio was launched streaming locally created content 24 hours a day seven days a week. Early on we heard comments from competitors on the am/fm dial like..."We weren't a real radio station", and "We'd never have more than ten listeners".
It wasn't as easy in 2017 as it is today, to launch an internet broadcast, let alone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The concept was still very experimental at the time and "listeners" were slow to adapt to what we knew would eventually be "BROADCAST FREEDOM.
Today, that pioneering spirit has seen a proliferation of podcasts, webcasts, and streaming media. Find out more about how Rainier Avenue Radio is leading the charge in streaming media broadcasts, training and education, community engagement, and sustainable business development.
