Wednesday May 2nd - Metro League Baseball Playoffs: Ballard vs Eastside Catholic at Steve Cox Memorial Field.
Thursday May 3rd - The Metro League Track & Field meet from the SouthEast Athletic Complex at Rainier Beach High School, with Varsity Boys & Girls teams from Rainier Beach, Cleveland High School, O'Dea High School, and Holy Names Academy. We will be covering the state championships later this month.
Friday May 4th- Metro League Baseball Playoffs: Garfield vs. O’Dea at Steve Cox Field.
Saturday May 5th 11am-3pm The 13th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration at El Centro de la Raza.
4-7pm - The African Arts Alliance Resource Fair at Seward Park. (We were able to highlight our sponsors to hundreds of attendees over the public address systems at these events as well as one-on-one to visitors at our booth) See the photos.
Tuesday May 8th - Rainier Avenue Radio broadcast the Metro League Baseball championship game between Eastside Catholic and O’Dea.
We are looking forward to broadcasting the High School playoffs through the WIAA State Finals.
